Shipping & Delivery Policy

This policy explains where we deliver, when, and what to expect from the rider. We don't ship outside India and we don't ship anywhere by post — Flaxitup orders are hot, fresh food delivered locally and meant for prompt consumption.
1. Delivery zones
- Mumbai — most areas of South Mumbai, Western Suburbs, and the BKC corridor are serviceable from our Lower Parel kitchen. Exact serviceability is shown by pincode at checkout on our ordering platform.
- Bangalore — selected localities in central and southeast Bangalore.
- Orders to addresses outside these zones cannot be accepted; you'll be informed at checkout if your address isn't serviceable.
2. Delivery times
- Daily kitchen hours: 9:00 AM – 11:30 PM. Last order accepted typically 30 minutes before close.
- Most orders are delivered within 45-90 minutes of order confirmation. Estimated delivery time is shown at checkout.
- Delivery may be delayed during peak meal times, monsoons, or unusual traffic. We do our best to keep you updated by SMS / WhatsApp if there is a delay.
- Scheduled / pre-orders for a future time slot may be available on our ordering platform; the rider will arrive within the chosen window.
3. Delivery partners
- In-house — orders placed on order.flaxitup.com are delivered by our own delivery team where available.
- Third-party — depending on distance and load, we may use a third-party delivery partner. Your name, phone, and address are shared with the partner only for the duration of the delivery.
- Swiggy / Zomato — orders placed via these partner apps are delivered by the partner's own rider network and follow the partner's delivery rules.
4. Packaging
Hot items are packed in insulated containers; cold items (juices, salads with chilled ingredients) travel in separate cold packs. We use food-grade, recyclable materials wherever possible.
5. Delivery fees
Delivery fees, if any, are shown transparently at checkout before you pay — they depend on distance and current rider availability. There are no hidden charges added after checkout.
6. Receiving your order
- Make sure the address and phone number you provide are accurate, and that someone is available to receive the order during the delivery window.
- If the rider can't reach you, they will call. If we cannot reach you within a reasonable time, the rider may return; the order is treated as fulfilled and is not refundable except per our Refund Policy.
- Inspect your order on receipt. If anything is wrong (wrong item, missing item, damaged packaging), let us know within 24 hours so we can make it right.
7. Food safety on arrival
Our food is best eaten within an hour of delivery. If you can't eat it right away, refrigerate within 2 hours and consume within 24 hours. Reheat to piping hot. We're not liable for food consumed after these windows.
8. International shipping
We do not ship outside India. We do not currently offer pan-India shipping either — Flaxitup is a fresh-food brand designed for same-day local delivery only.
